Co-creating a harmonious world!
Let us move forward into a space of love. Let us strive to find our appreciation for one another. Let us once again find our kin whom we can honor and trust and co-create with. We have a chance to create a new vision. A new world. One that is filled with awe and wonder. One that is filled with simplicity and truth. We have been hoodwinked into believing that the material, consumerist world is how life should be. And yet, what do we get for it? We get to work a job which keeps us indoors, we work all day without moving around, we are sitting under LED lights being bombarded with very discordant frequencies. We do unfulfilling work, all so we can pay our bills and take 2 weeks of vacation every year. This model of life is so absurd. Where is the joy? How do the masses find happiness inside of the walls of a skyscraper? How does anyone find happiness sitting at a desk for 8 hours a day doing non-sensical work? Sadly, we have simply been programmed to see this type of life as fulfilling. Our entire education system is designed to simply train us to be good little worker slaves. It does NOT teach happiness, or joy or purpose. It creates a dead-end vision in which the only substance which is sought…is money!
So – where do we begin?
How do we re-shape the narrative to move from seeking money to
seeking happiness? Shouldn’t everyone
understand this idea? Don’t we all seek
to be happy? Yes – we all seek
happiness, but we have no idea how to be happy in this world. We are too busy trying to make money. We are too busy trying to survive and put
food on our tables. My heart hurts when
I write about this. It hurts because it
is true. We work only for the sake of
money. We are slaves to a piece of
paper. And then, we see “rich” people having
fun, living in mansions, driving fancy cars and we think – “that’s what I want”. I want to be rich so I can do whatever I
want. We never realize that rich people
may look happy, but they are just as sad as you are…they have external
happiness b/c they can afford to buy anything that they want. And yet, on the inside, they aren’t happy. They want peace and harmony and acceptance
and love just like everyone else. In
many cases the rich actually have it harder than the poor. The rich can afford every luxury…and yet
their heart is still empty. They are
unable to figure out WHY they are unhappy.
They have never looked within themselves for happiness. They have simply demanded that the external
world does everything for them. They
are hollow vessels, floating in the ocean currents, drifting from one wave to
the next, never understanding that it is the joy of riding the wave which brings
happiness. It isn’t about the NEXT thing;
it’s about being present in the NOW thing!
What kind of image can we present that will affect both the
rich and the poor?
What kind of image can we create which will inspire MANS heart
to open? (MAN represents both men and women)
What can we say which will inspire others to change?
Not everyone will be able to grasp the vision of self
responsibility. Not everyone will be
able to FEEL a reverence for others. Not
everyone is confident enough to live a quiet and slow life. This type of life is only meant for those who
are seeking to totally surrender to the joy of discovering life.
Why do we go, go, go?
Is this simply because we were programmed to work all day, then come
home and watch TV all night and then rush around all weekend trying to squeeze
in our chores and spending time with friends – rush, rush, rush!…Can we even
imagine sitting around at night or on the weekends reading and taking walks and
just “Being”, free to enjoy the time with our loved ones? Or will our mind feel like we are lazy, or
not doing enough? Why do we have so much
pressure to do?
When do we “get” time to think? When do we get time to play and have
fun? When do we get to totally slow down
and ponder life, its purpose and who we are?
The fundamental way of living has been removed from our awareness. We live in cities with dirty air, our
waterways are polluted, our foods have been chemically compromised and our
spiritual essence has been stifled by false teachings of a wrathful &
controlling God.
I ask these questions in hopes that it will generate an
idea. A spark! A memory of a time long since forgotten.
As a society, we believe that we are an advanced
people. And yet, why do we believe this? Is this because we have fancy cars and cell
phones and technological toys? How can
we be so advanced if we have so many men and women who are sick, homeless and
severely uneducated? How can we be so
advanced and yet we have people who went through 12 years of school and still
can’t read. How can we be so advanced and yet so divided
as a people? We have no common goals
regarding life. We only seek power and
domination!
We must consider that the way in which we are behaving as a
country, as a planetary consciousness is not beneficial to ALL beings living on
this planet. We must see that in an
advanced society, everyone is cherished, everyone is loved and everyone is
equal. In an advanced and thriving
society, we are free to create without fear.
Our creations MUST be for the highest good, they must be free of
harm. When creating something new, we
must take the time to THINK it through.
If there is a negative ramification from our creation, we must stop and reassess
its viability. We must seek to find
total harmony within the creation, or we must abandon it! We must never make something if it generates
a negative consequence. This sounds very
simple. It should not be difficult to
ponder the cause & effect of our creations.
Nor should it be difficult to accept that we must change directions if
it is determined that our creations will cause harm to ourselves or our
planet. We must remove the notion that “the means,
justify the ends”. There is nothing
which can justify causing harm.
We must see governments not as our slave masters, but as our
wisdom keepers. The governments are here
to help facilitate trade, to facilitate transportation needs and to set the
guidelines for how the people can co-create a peaceful existence. It is the place where the people can present
their ideas for improving the life of all people. The government should NOT be a place of
regulations and control. It should be
seen as a facilitator. The government is
NOT a charity and should not be in the business of managing welfare. In order for us to have a thriving society,
all men and women must be empowered to live independently. Our cities should be lush and green. We should have natural areas and gardens
galore. Everything should be designed to
enhance our way of life, not to stifle it.
We should have areas where fruit trees are growing. Each condo or
apartment complex should have its own green spaces to allow for the residents
to have clean, fresh and free food.
Everyone shares in the bounty of Gods creation! Everyone participates in the harvesting of
the crops. There is no need to worry
about others stealing your crops, because gardens are everywhere. We should be able to work together and trade
with one another. Maybe each individual
gets a certain allotment of the harvest…and they are free to trade with others
as they see fit. But no one receives
more than anyone else. All are equal!
I realize that this idea sounds like a pipe dream. It sounds like it is impossible. But why?
Why is living in cooperation with one another and our planet
impossible? It is only impossible
because our government has been in the business of hindering our growth. It is
because of control & money? It is
time for us as a people to recognize that the direction we are currently headed
in, leads to our demise. It is time for
us to accept that change is necessary if we are to thrive. We must allow for our hearts to open and for
our love for life to be the reason we change.
All we need is the belief that it can be done. All we need to do is remove our limitations
and take one step forward. As we begin
taking our baby steps towards the new, we will gather more momentum. When more of us awaken to the idea of unity
and oneness, more ideas will come. We
will need our youth to lead the way. We
need our younger generations to help us dream this into existence.
I choose the world of UNITY, Love, Harmony and Joy…!
